dLetter is a small email-client for sending and receiving via pop3. It supports attachements in both directions. It has no GUI (so no screenshots needed ;) ) but uses the onboard options (changing filename, and the two lines for description) read out adresses, attachements and integrates thus quite nice into the content-manager. Written entirely in Python it depends upon having Python installed (look here as long as it is not mentioned on OpenIliad: http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24138 - it is easy). So far there has not been done much testing and there might be some issues. It is part of an approach to make it possible to send and receive handwritten letters. The other tool 'alloy.py' for merging scribbles to pdf on the iLiad itself is still unpublished, due uncertainties of bricking the iLiad. There is a short manual with more ideas of how to use it within the tar-ball. I made the manual iLiad-sized, so you can read it whenever you need ;) I would be very happy if others would join, to make this more userfriendly and simply better. Have fun!
